Thursday 13th July 2017 16:53 Glossop Chronicle News Posted by Adam Higgins

There’s a familiar face back at the helm at Glossop’s Inner Wheel Club.

That’s because Pat Castle has been elected as the club’s president for the fifth time.

She was chosen for the year 2017-18 at the club’s recent AGM.

Over the last year, the club raised a fantastic £1541.50 under the leadership of Pat Southern.

The money was distributed to a number of charities, some of which were local, including Reuben’s Retreat, Mummy’s Star, Glossop Mountain Rescue Team, Buxton Billarettes, the Tameside Macmillan Unit and Willow Wood Hospice.

Inner Wheel is the largest voluntary ladies service organisation in the world.

And the Glossop district group are looking for anyone over the age of 18 to get involved.
