Macmillan Bring A Pound Day
Schools, colleges and businesses are already joining up for our Tameside Macmillan Unit Appeal 'Bring a pound day' event.
The big day for your diary is Thursday, February 9, and one school that will be playing an active part is Audenshaw School.
Students are already on a 'Macmillan Mission' of their own with the aim of raising £5,000 for the appeal.
They have raised a marvellous £2,500 so far and aim to significantly increase that total on February 9.
We will be reporting from the school live on Tameside Radio on the day from their fundraising events.
Meanwhile here is their video of their fundraising efforts to date...
