Break-in at Simmondley Co-op

There was a break-in at the Co-op in Simmondley in the early hours of this morning (Monday).

Four men are suspected to have been involved in a burglary at the supermarket on Pennine Road at around 2:15am.

The men forced entry to the store and the ATM machine inside was attacked and cash stolen.

They are described as wearing dark coloured clothing and two of them were wearing balaclavas.

Police investigatingĀ the incidentĀ are appealing to the public for information to assist with their enquiries.
